Tips for Everyone #2 1. Don't be afraid of wines with residual sugar.
2. Rules are made to be broken - drink red wine with fish and white wine with meat.
3. Sommeliers are not always "out to get the diner". There are some out there who still dare to down sell.
4. Drink and read, drink and read, drink and read - the more that you know about a wine, the more delicious and satisfying it can be.
5. When in doubt, drink bubbly!

Inspired by the Rogue Valley’s natural beauty and bounty, RoxyAnn Winery was founded in 2002 at the historic Hillcrest Orchard in east Medford that has been bearing fruit for over 100 years. Today, RoxyAnn Winery handcrafts bold and exciting wines that possess tremendous color, complexity and depth of flavor. Our winemaking relies upon a balanced and gentle process that fully expresses the unique attributes of the vineyard in our wines. RoxyAnn's extraordinary vineyard is located on the southwest slopes of Roxy Ann Peak; where the property's shallow, limestone-clay soils and southern solar exposure is ideally suited to producing Cabernet sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet franc, Grenache, Tempranillo, Viognier and Syrah.
Our family owned and operated winery showcases handcrafted winery limited production wines from our own Estate grown fruit. At Agate Ridge we welcome you to taste our premium wines, relax in our charming gardens and enjoy our warm hospitality.
Bridgeview, one of Oregon’s largest wineries, produces moderately priced, gracious wines in the varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Chardonnay and Riesling. Most of the grapes are grown on our 85-acre, estate vineyard in the Illinois Valley and our 80-acre Applegate Valley vineyard.
At Crater Lake Cellars, we are producers of hand picked and hand crafted wines, from the Southern Oregon appellation. Each of our wines are produced in small case lots, hand picked, hand sorted and lovingly babysat to fruition.
Del Rio, located just outside Gold Hill on the beautiful Rogue River, is an estate vineyard and winery with over 210 acres of producing vines. Originally this property was a stage coach stop, transformed to a pear orchard in the 1920's and in the late 1990's became a vineyard, thus preserving agriculture in the Rogue Valley. This site of primary southern facing slopes grows 13 different varietals. Many are sold to premium wineries in the state along with Del Rio's own estate wine that can be sampled in the Historical Stage Coach Hotel, built in 1864.
Located on the beautiful and historic property of Eden Valley Orchards, birthplace of the pear industry in the Northwest. EdenVale Winery produces national award-winning wines including Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Viognier, white and red blends.
Our commitment to the art of wine begins with the care of our estate vineyard and extends to the relationships we cultivate with growers farming some of the finest hillside vineyards in the warm, dry climate of the Rogue Valley. Gentle winemaking and personal attention to a very limited production allow us to offer wines of unique character, finesse, and longevity.
You can find it all at Schmidt Family Vineyards located in the Beautiful Applegate Valley.
The Rogue Appellation Garagiste Society (RAGS) was conceived and organized by a group of southern Oregon small production vintners in late 2005. Like the French Garagistes we are limited production viticulturist and vintners. RAGS members are committed to perfection and detail, in our wines and vineyards, for the best expression of variety, site, and vine management. We expect high quality and share a responsibility to our region and state for accepting only the best.
Troon Vineyard is an internationally recognized, award winning, boutique winery, with a team dedicated to the pursuit of "good times and fine wines." Located in the viticultural heart of the Applegate Valley, the winery and vineyard are set on a beautiful 98 acre property with breathtaking panoramic views.
Weisinger's signature tastes come from exceptional grapes grown in the the Rogue Valley-the heart of Southern Oregon. Lush fruits are the natural expression of our local soil, climate and vines. Slowly ripened, the grapes develop rich unique flavors and aromas. We blend grape varietals in small quantities using the best French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels. The resulting award-winning wines convey remarkable flavors of Rogue Valley vineyards. Please come and experience the romance and charm of our Southern Oregon Vineyard and Winery.

www.rosellasvineyard.com We purchased the vineyard in 1998, looking for a lifestyle change. It was an opportunity to do something Rex had always dreamed of. Rex came from a farming background. When he was a boy he farmed his Grandparents farm in Yakima, Wa where they grew concord grapes for Welch's grape juice. With the loss of his mother due to breast cancer, we dedicated the vineyard and winery in her name: Rosella. We grow 5 varietals-Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and new plantings of Zinfandel and Syrah. It is our desire to grow the best fruit possible and to produce quality wines from that fruit. So, the next time you are in Southern Oregon, come see us along the Applegate Valley Wine Trail!
